ADMISSIONS

Please note that unvaccinated pets, and young pets who have not had the required initial vaccinations cannot be admitted, in the interest of their own health and that of other boarders.

VACCINATIONS
The following vaccinations are required prior to arrival to ensure that the pets have the necessary immunity:

DOGS
The traditional 4-in-1 vaccination – every year, after the primary vaccination and booster.
A valid Rabies vaccination, every three years.
Kennel Caugh intranasal – annually, may require a booster dose – please check with your Vet.

CATS
The traditional 4-in-1 vaccination – every year, after the primary vaccination and booster.
A valid Rabies vaccination, every three years.
Snuffles intranasal – annually, may require a booster dose – please check with your Vet.

DEWORMING

If you regularly deworm your pets, (every 3 to 4 months for dogs & every 5 to 6 months for cats), then there will be no need for additional treatment. However, if we find a worm infestation while your pets are with us, we will administer a dewormer, for your account. We use the same deworming tablets as the Vets for dogs and cats.

TICKS AND FLEAS

Please ensure that your pets are free of ticks and fleas when they are booked in. Should pets arrive with ticks and/or fleas, they will be treated immediately (dogs will be dipped, and cats treated with Advantage), as well as their surroundings and bedding, for the clients' account. Keep in mind that this is a costly procedure, so we do encourage our clients to apply an affective tick and flea control product prior to arrival. Ask your Vet regarding treatment.

We require the following documents to be emailed to us before your pet's arrival:

Copies of your pet's up to date vaccination certificates, including their proof of deworming, and tick & flea prevention.

*Please note - If your pet requires their vaccinations to be done, kindly ensure the vaccinations are given a minimum of 2 to 3 weeks, prior to check-in.

*Please note - please advise if your pets will be on medication while staying with us. Or if there are any medical or behavioural issues we need to be aware of.
